About The DO School Fellowships


The DO School Fellowships gGmbH is a non-profit organization based in Berlin, Germany. Our core mission is to offer training and Fellowship programs to empower young people globally to launch projects addressing global and local challenges around the environment and society. With our work, we are training the next generation of impact entrepreneurs in innovative educational and Fellowship programs.

The project you would be working on at The DO School Fellowships is beVisioneers - a global environmental Fellowship that spans a 3-year hybrid-learning program equipping innovators aged 16 to 28 with the training, expert support, and resources to bring their planet-positive projects to life. Upon completing the intensive 12-month program, Fellows continue to receive support to scale their projects and develop their leadership skills.

As the Venture Coaching Co-lead, you will be a driving force behind the long-term impact of entrepreneurial Fellows. You will co-lead the Venture Coaching team and ensure that fellows receive high-quality coaching to develop, launch, and grow their planet-positive projects during the overall beVisioneers learning journey. 


About the role 

You will manage... (30%)

  • The joint Venture Coaching strategy ,VC team modeling and budgeting

  • 12+ global part-time Venture Coaches (VC) across the multi-year fellowship, including regular VC team calls, effective recruitment & onboarding. We use a  transparent quarterly performance management system for all 20+ venture coaches based on quarterly impact surveys, milestone submissions, and engagement metrics

  • The AI Coach deployment and practical experiments with venture coaches in order to scale venture coaching further and review these experiments regularly, at least in two bi-annual retrospectives

  • Inform the overall fellowship curriculum and learning strategy in collaboration with the Learning Team, with a specific focus on the journey of Foundation Fellows (Year 1)



And… (12.5%)

  • Coach up to 2 venture coaching group of fellows (up to 32 fellows) and run 1:1 office hours and monthly group calls 

  • Own the Foundation Track of Fellows (Year 1) in term of strategy and learning content related to venture coaching, ensuring this first year fully sets fellows up for success

  • Track progress, data, and engagement of assigned fellows in Hubspot and provide feedback to fellows on progress and engagement during and at the end of the Year 1 intensive

  • Sustainable Ventures Director as Deputy/Right-Hand, with priority on strategy and innovation 

  • Project Scholarship selection strategy and processOperations and Program Teams on the scholarship impact evaluation process 



As the Venture Coaching co-lead, you report to the Director of Sustainable Ventures and closely collaborate with the other Co-Lead, Ventures Coaches, Entrepreneurship Manager, Learning Director, Partnerships Lead, Ops and the wider bV team.


This is what you can expect…                        

In the first month, you will complete your onboarding, learn the nuts & bolts of beVisioneers, establish working relationships with our Program and Operations teams, and start to iterate on the strategy of venture coaching and grants for the greatest impact. You will meet the fellows you will coach as well as the other venture coaches. 

After two months, you will have taken over co-leadership of the venture coaches and the Foundation Track and will ensure that the Sustainable Ventures Team is fully set up for the next Cohort of Fellows. You have established the year’s goals and processes and will work closely with the Program and Operations teams to have scalable systems for tracking impact and continuous improvement. 

After three months, you will be in full swing, managing venture coaches to set fellows up for success in their planet-positive projects, supporting the grants team on fellows’ grant impact reports, and working with the Director of Sustainable Ventures on strategy development. 

After six months, you will be at the forefront of scaling beVisioneers venture coaching and supporting a strong entrepreneurship strategy to accelerate the
Your profile

About you 


To thrive and grow in this role, you will likely have:


  • 5+ years deep entrepreneurship expertise including first-hand experience in coaching innovators on launching viable, impactful projects (e.g. for-profit or nonprofit businesses, campaigns, or programs), especially in the Majority World (so-called “Global South)”

  • Skilled at remotely managing entrepreneurial team members

  • Proven program management experience

  • Proficient in data analysis and optimized workflows (using tools like Excel, Hubspot, etc)

  • Able to measure impact and iterate based on learnings 

  • Fluent in written and verbal English 


… And will likely have: 


  • Setup and run efficient, scalable funding and impact reporting processes 

  • A self-directed approach to working in an evolving and fast-paced environment 

  • A passion for youth leadership and/or environmental action

  • Collaborative, empathetic, and efficient habits 


Ideally, you might also have ... 

  • Working or lived experience in countries outside of Germany

  • Language skills in addition to English 

  • Experience working with corporate donors or stakeholders
